One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a z/OS Engineer.

Description: Task description:
- Resolve any configuration, parameter or performance issues with the z/OS operating system
- Apply the necessary maintenance for the proper functioning of the operating system, of one of the components and 'supplier' products (Broadcom)
- Write or adapt the exits of the operating system or one of its components (TSO, JES2, ...)
- Participate in a possible migration of applications from or to the z/OS system from a system point of view
- Define and ensure the follow-up of the planning through the company PMO-PSO.
- Realise the appropriate documentation for the different technical interventions implemented
Technical knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of z/OS: minimum base V2.4, and the following components: SMPE, SMS, TSO, ISPF, RACF, TCP/IP and Assembly language
- Knowledge of software related to the operating system: DB2, CICS Websphere and 'Supplier' products (base: CA-BROADCOM: CA7, CA OPS, CA DISPATCH, CA-ROSCOE)
Profile:
- University degree or equivalent
- Professional experience as a systems engineer in a z/OS environment
- Practical experience with assembly language
- Experience working on operating system related software (DB2, CICS, Websphere)
- Professional experience on software Vendor products: Ca-Broadcom.
- Professional experience of the SMP/E tool for installation and maintenance of the operating system, its components and vendor products.
- Teamwork, analytical, responsible, motivated and dynamic
- Ability to share knowledge and document technical interventions
