You will be asked to implement a php/mysql website. The design (layout) of the site will be given to you. You will thus have only to develop the site. Fantasmedia is in need of a new website to comply with the following abilities: - Is firstly a showcase of the Company - Is a platform for the Fantasmedia branding exercise- Has an attractive interface to show up the different services towards members and non-members of the Fantasmedia and therefore have a member’s area. - Must have a forum where members can post and reply through discussions.- Provide an interface for online registration of participants- Has a flexible interface for further design change.- Have an E-commerce interface to sell publications at a later stage.- Provide Mailing interface for Mass Mailing services- Provide several databases for different needs within the website- Provide an administrator interface where a Fantasmediaemployer can login and update some particular news and also provide a moderation interface for the administrator to accept or decline members profile updates.- And finally have a proper FAQ. System Requirements Interface technology: PHP/MySql and Some flash MX. 1. A back office interface A back office interface with secured access for the Fantasmedia to administrate the website:- Using a PHP/MySQL interface that will allow you to target your services at any page of your site. This is useful for targeting your objectives in the main links and it also allows you to use different color code for each department showed up within your website without charging the interface in file size. Use of Flash MX to present the main menus and ads to make it more attractive using animation transitions.- Creation of an industry-standard administration tool that will allow a staff member to easily update the banners and hotlinks, do moderation upon members profile change and also manage the databases for further backups.- Preserve template-based coding to allow staff easy access and updates within the existing design. 2. A user friendly web portal accessible to the public worldwide. The interface itself should be able to target the marketing values of the Fantasmedia by broadcasting the several services available for the public and corporate. The means will be enhance as follows:- Using dynamic menus with drop down and graphical interfaces within the main menus.- A front page with daily updated news and programs outline with a conceptual approach by means of administrator’s posts which would be target to a particular page upon click onto.- Access to different sections with a defined color code upon its menus and main page.- An optional advertising section in the main page. Prior to your approval to our design proposal, we would welcome to show you the different designs we can apply to your website and hence you can have an idea of how the website we should be designing for you would be. 3. A member’s area powered with a Forum interface- Prior to access the member’s area, interested people are required to login upon registration and hence will be granted access with a unique username and password.- With a granted login, the member will be able to add much more information about him through a dedicated administrating page which is moderated by the MEF administrator for major sensible change.- The member’s area will have several sections accessible to the users such as a knowledge based database or an FAQ section where he can post a question which will become visible to the forum. Once a reply is obtained, the user will be notified by mail as well as on the member’s area. The FAQs and replies will automatically be archived into the knowledge base to be accessible for other members as well.- Through the member’s area, users may obtain downloadable materials for specific courses. These materials would have been earlier uploaded by the MEF webmaster or the lecturers. 4. SME corner- The SME corner should contain information and materials which would have already been submitted to the BackOffice- It will have specific login pages for the different members of the MEF concerning SME.- The resources may vary depending of the nature of the data. Appropriate forms shall be available at any time for downloading concerning the activity area- For more details we propose to schedule a meeting to discuss of the main points to be adapted for the SME corner. Prerequisites Fantasmedia Co.ltd will need other information if the proposal stands good with the MEF. For that we might request an appointment at your conveniences so that we discuss in more details the nature of the information to be processed through the website and take a look at the current activities within the MEF in order to reflect them onto the website. Upon approval of our proposal, we will be holding regular meetings with MEF representatives to show completed modules in order to see if they meet their requirements and finalize the structure of each module. It would be advisable to have a specific contact within MEF to liaise with us in order to progress rapidly on the project. In the same context, we will provide a temporary link through which you may visualize the progress of the development of the site constantly. Design Solutions should be presented that you should validate before processing any further. Once this stage finalized we could proceed torwawds the development steps Development During this phase all the necessary functionalites should be developed.This part will be developed using MODULAR programming. Once completed the testing phase should start to make sure that all the completed modules works perfectly. This would allow the users to be introduced to the new systems and at the same time to start the debugging and testing phase which will be later explained in details DocumentationEach module and part will be documented. Adequate documentation will be provided for each module and for the whole website. Documentation will contain technical and user level information. time Frame: The software is scheduled to be delivered with one month as from the date the agreement contract is signed.Nature du projet : Ce projet est un projet concret, et une réalisation certaine

Hello, After the analysis of your needs, I have some details to ask you : 1. You say that design of the site wil be given. After you say that “Design Solutions should be presented that you should validate before processing any further”. Exactely, what’s about the design? 2. I don't undestand exactly What you want to say by “Access to different sections with a defined color code upon its menus and main page”. Is the section have his special color?
3. Someone who subscribe into the forum is automaticly member?
4. I think that the FAQ section and the Forum is two different section. But you say that “The member’s area will have several sections accessible to the users such as a knowledge based database or an FAQ section where he can post a question which will become visible to the forum”. Can you reexplain please?
5. If you say “materials”, is it like a file?
6. Can you explain the relation between member of the site, the SME and the MEF? The member and the SME have their dedicated administrating page, and what's the difference (section) between the member's administrating page and the SME administrating page? Thank you.
